Children from all over Germany protest in front of the Ministry of the Environment and the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin (Germany). The children demand Svenja Schulze (SPD), German environment minister, to attend the following UN Conference on marine ecosystems (IGC-4) in New York.
The protest is part of a global day of action in which Greenpeace offices around the world are delivering ice penguins to seats of power. Visuals of these penguins melting - and our teams gathered alongside - will be used to aid our call for a new Global Ocean Treaty that will allow us to set up ocean sanctuaries in international waters.
