The Break Free From Plastic Pollution Act advances comprehensive solutions to reduce single-use plastic and packaging from all material types, builds a national recycling/composting/reusable infrastructure and saves local and municipal governments billions of dollars per year. The bill will shift the burden of managing product and packaging waste from local and municipal governments to the producers of single-use products and packaging.
