Director Costa-Gavras speaks at the Cinema for Peace Gala in Berlin. The movie "Sanctuary" and Greenpeace are awarded the "Cinema for Peace Honorary Award". The prize is awarded every year to individuals and organisations that have made a special contribution to politics or the environment. The award ceremony takes place during the 70th Berlinale.

Der Film "Sanctuary" und die Umweltorganisation Greenpeace erhalten auf der Cinema for Peace Gala 2020 in Berlin den "Cinema for Peace Honorary Award". Der Preis wird jedes Jahr an Personen und Organisationen verliehen die sich im besonderen Maße in der Politik oder für die Umwelt eingesetzt haben. Die Preisverleihung findet am Rande der 70.
