As part of a campaign push to ban the plastic bags in Croatia, Greenpeace Croatia exhibited a six-meter sculpture of whales emerging from the sea of plastic waste in 3 towns in the Istrian peninsula (Umag, Poreč, and Pula). These events were part of Plastic Free July, and it began on July 2nd - the day when SUP Directive entered into force. The installation was made by Greenpeace Italy.
