In Suffolk, Virginia in the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, a coal train was derailed. Thirty-six train cars of coal went into the Great Dismal Swamp. While the coal is not harmful on its own, it can leach onto water and threaten the animals and habitat of the area.
