Greenpeace campaigners Manfred Santen, Heinz Smital (GPGermany), Rashid Alimov (GP Russia) and Vladimir Slivyak from Ecodefense deliver a petition against the transport of uranium hexafluoride (UF6), a waste product of the uranium enrichment process) from the Uranium Enrichment Facility (UEF) of URENCO in Gronau to Russia.
They hand them over to state secretary Joachim Flasbarth at the ministry of environment in Berlin.
Greenpeace demands the halt of all nuclear waste transports.
