Greenpeace held peaceful protests at Australian embassies around the world, including in Ottawa in front of the Australian High Commission, asking people to tell Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison to take immediate action to phase-out coal and stop fueling the climate crisis.
Over over 16,000 Canadians signed the petition asking the Australian government to act on climate and phase-out coal.
Protests are also organized in America, Australia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, South Korea and Sweden.
