Environmental Crisis in Chiloé Island in Chile - Web Video (English Version)
After a toxic dump of thousands of tons of salmon waste, thousands of animals such as birds, crabs and seals were found dead on the beaches of the Chilean island of Chiloé in one of the worst environmental crisis Chile has seen in the past few years.
But the government answers are poor and unsatisfactory. A Greenpeace team returns to the island to demand transparency and concrete measures against the disaster. The team includes experts: an oceanographer and marine biologist (Ernesto Molina) as well as a social anthropologist (Francisco Ther) to evaluate how the population has been affected. The goal is to have a comprehensive view of this conflict.
