Yang Zhengxi is a local farmer in Liping, Guizhou province, China. He quitted his job in the county government when he saw that the region was facing the great danger of losing invaluable rice species. Afterwards he started the “Farmers Cooperative Working with Oxen” to restore the ecosystem in the rice fields by planting over 60 different kinds of rice. Now the Farmers Cooperative has incorporated over 800 farmers practicing ecological farming methods such as rice-fish-duck system and using oxen to plough.
Greenpeace launched an initiative called ‘Foodies Box’ to help Yang Zhengxi and his farmers cooperative to link their efforts directly to consumers.

环保组织绿色和平今日发布名为“源味盒作社”的生态农业发展项目，该项目旨在帮助在中国从事生态农业种植工作的农民及农民合作社，并为他们建立与城市消费者群体直接沟通的渠道。其中，为贵州省黎平县有牛农民合作社发起的“源味盒作社·贵州花米饭”众筹项目，已登录京东众筹平台。
杨正熙是贵州省黎平县的一名当地农民，他注意到这个地区正在面临失去宝贵水稻品种的巨大威胁，为此他辞去了县政府的工作。后来，成立了“有牛合作社”，种植的水稻品种多达 60 余种，以期恢复稻田的生态环境。现在，有 800 多个农户加入这个农民合作社，他们采用稻鱼鸭系统和牛耕之类的生态农业方法耕作。
