Bicknell's Thrush in Canada
Bicknell's thrush (Catharus bicknelli) in Canada.
These birds breed in coniferous forests in Quebec and Nova Scotia and migrate south to the Caribbean each winter. They build bulky, cup-shaped nests close to the trunks of trees. Logging and infestations of spruce budworm are among the threats to this bird's population.
