Volunteers log petitions in the back of a rental truck in downtown Denver. A grassroots-led coalition united under the banner "Yes for Health and Safety Over Fracking" delivered boxes of signatures to place two initiatives on Colorado's November ballot. The initiatives, #75 and #78, aim to address shortcomings in state law and regulations around hydraulic fracturing (fracking) for oil and natural gas. The petition signatures were delivered to the Colorado Secretary of State's office in Denver.
