Siemens inaugurates its new headquarters in Munich. The company, which will be climate neutral by 2030, claims that the new building also sets standards for climate-friendly construction and a modern corporate culture even though Siemens is planning to get involved in the building of the new Brazilian mega dam at the Tapajos river in the Brazilian Amazon.
The environmentally and socially highly controversial project would destroy large forest areas and home to thousands of indigenous Munduruku.
