Two Greenpeace activists got to the stage during the speech of the chairman Jarosław Kaczyński, of the ruling party during the V Congress of Law and Justice and displayed banners with the slogan "Entire Bialowieza Forest should be a national park" to call for the protection of the Białowieża Forest. In particular Greenpeace referred to the project to establish Białowieża National Park on the whole territory of the Białowieża Forest, that was developed by advisors of former President Lech Kaczynski.
