On the heels of COP13 (13th Conference of the Parties of the Convention on Biological Diversity), and the announcement of the Biosphere Reserve, Greenpeace tours in Cancún, Mexico to highlight the beauty and fragility of the Mesoamerican reefs. The ship tour is also doing scientific work analyzing the state of corals in the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico, in order to gauge the negative impact they've suffered from human activities.
