Greenpeace France with 3 other NGOs (Notre Affaire à tous, Fondation pour la Nature et l’Homme and Oxfam France) filed a lawsuit at the Paris administrative court against the French government, accusing it of failing to act upon its environmental obligations.
The executive directors, Jean-François Julliard (Greenpeace France), Cécile Duflot (Oxfam), Célia (Fondation pour la Nature et l’Homme), Marine Denis (Notre Affaire A Tous) stay in front of the Paris Tribunal court, with a banner saying "Climate : when will the reaction of the century come ? »
Advocates, Youth for Climate and citizens support the NGOs in their action.
A petition accompanying their initiative, called ‘L’Affaire du siècle’ « the case of the century » has collected a record of 2.1 million signatures.
