On August 30th, 2018, the Federal Court of Appeal quashed the Trudeau government approval of the Trans Mountain Expansion Project.

Construction on this project is now officially stopped for the foreseeable future.

As one of the litigants in the federal court case, the Squamish Nation invited the general public to celebrate this huge victory by hosting a march and concert.
