Kirsten Thompson, scientist, examines samples taken from the River Clyde. She is part of a Greenpeace team sampling the waters of the River Clyde for plastics, including micro and macro plastics. The joint initiative between Greenpeace UK and Greenpeace Science Laboratory is conducting the biggest ever survey of plastic pollution in UK rivers, covering 12 rivers and 237 specific sample sites.
