Greenpeace, together with the Argentina Association of Environmental Lawyers, the Permanent Assembly for Human Rights of Neuquen, with the support of the Mapuche Confederation of Neuquen presented evidence to the public prosecutor for the inclusion of Shell to be investigated for using illegal dumps for their highly toxic oily waste from fracking. We were also joined by representatives from Observatorio Petrolero Sur (OPSur - another of our alliances).
We staged a photo-op in front of the Shell office in Buenos Aires depicting a Shell 'Executive' pouring 'oil' from a barrel and a GP activists wearing hazmat kit identifying Shell as polluters.
