Organic Food Street Fest in Brazil
At Greenpeace's tent, celebration was in order due to the Special Comission in Brazilian Congress approving the National Policy for Reduction in Pesticide Use (PNaRA), on December 4th.
After two editions of Community Coffee and Prose - a series of meetings in Campo Limpo, in the suburbs of São Paulo, to discuss social entrepreneurship, poison-free food, rightful access to the city and health - Greenpeace joins the fifth edition of Festival Percurso, an initiative of Agência Solano Trindade to discuss how to make healthy and poison-free food available to everybody.
Dozens of organic food, clothes and book tents occupied Praça do Campo Limpo, a square in the suburbs of São Paulo, which also hosted several musical atractions, discussion groups and masters of popular culture from all over the country.
