Aosa, a type of seaweed in season. Many tarry residues were found on Chinase beach, since the authorities haven’t started cleaning operation. Within an hour, Greenpeace team saw several tarry residues washed up shore by waves.
Greenpeace Japan sent a team down to Amami Oshima where the tarry residues are washed ashore to conduct bearing-witness and to hear residents' concerns.
