Members and supporters of Greenpeace, Campact and other NGOs demonstrate in Berlin against Merkel's Government's Coal Policy to put pressure on the coalition negotiations for the future government. With the talks and the COP23 nearing an end, the environmental activists again raise demands on the German government to drastically change their energy policies to quit relying on coal and favor renewables instead so that Germany can keep up with the Paris Agreement. The march forms a red line (Rote Linie) as it winds its way through the government district. Banners and signs read: "Protect the climate, end Coal".
