Barramundi Fish in southern Thailand
Under the murky estuarine water, a wild Barramundi (Lates calcarifer) is caught by a gloved hand of an artisan fisher from Thepha in the mangrove forest of Khlong Tu Yong in Thepha district, Songkhla province, Thailand.
Barramundi is widely farmed throughout Southeast Asia, however artisan fishers in this area still practice this traditional fishing method.
