Activists Enter the Coca Cola Factory in Israel - Web Video (English Subs)
Coca-Cola is the world’s biggest soft drinks producer and the source of over a hundred billion disposable plastic bottles every year. Many of these end up in landfill, on beaches and in the ocean. Coca Cola must take responsibility for the plastic pollution it creates.
The throwaway single use plastic bottles produced by Coca Cola are not made using recycled materials. Greenpeace Israel sent a letter calling on Coca Cola to take measures to decrease the amount of plastic which ends up into the oceans, but received no answer. There are solutions and alternatives, but Coca Cola is lobbying against local deposit law in Israel.
Greenpeace activists entered the Coca Cola factory and talked to the Israeli Coca Cola vice CEO who agreed to set up a meeting.
