Greenpeace Campaigners Travel to Mbandaka
Jannes Stoppel (Greenpeace Campaigner,
Forests and Climate Change) and Matt Daggett (Greenpeace Global Campaign Leader for Forests) on their way to Mbandaka. A team from Greenpeace Africa are working with local partners to conduct scientific research in the village of Lokolama, 45 km from Mbandaka. The team aim to identify the presence of tropical peatlands in the region, and to measure its depth.
