Greenpeace activists protest at the Indonesian Health Ministry office in Jakarta by wearing outfits that show the effect of particle pollution PM 2.5 on the human body and carry signs that read "Jakarta under pollution".
Greenpeace Indonesia monitored the PM 2.5 air pollution particle at 21 spots in Jakarta from January to June with results of the air quality conditions in Jakarta being on an unhealthy level. This result is similar to that of the US Embassy equipment in Jakarta.
PM 2.5 daily level in Jakarta is higher than the WHO and National standards that are on the level of 25µg/m3 and 65µg/m3 for a healthy category.
Greenpeace urges the Health Ministry office to be more concerned about the danger of air pollution for Jakarta's inhabitants.
