Break Free - No Oil Drilling in Epirus
Greenpeace activists on paragliders fly at 1.400 meters above the ground, in order to protest against the seismic testing and the planned onshore drilling in the beautiful and unspoiled area of Epirus, in North-Western Greece. The area's unique nature, its rich resources and the livelihood of the locals are threatened by the drilling the Greek government and the oil company Repsol have agreed. Greenpeace asks from the Greek government to cancel its drilling programme there and everywhere in Greece, and adopt an energy plan with a transition to 100% renewable energy up to 2050.
