On the occasion of International Women's Day 2018, Greenpeace Africa showcases the voices of African women and the positive role they play in the community through their daily activities. This series shows the daily life of a group of 70 women, working as fish processors in a fishing village named Mar Lodj in Senegal, from the morning to the closing time of the business. It also highlights how coastal ecosystems contribute to the well-being of people by offering them services and a healthy environment. As a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter and a pillar of the family, an African woman plays a vital role in the community. Raising up children and taking care of their education are among their daily tasks.
