Import of Tropical Timber Action in Rotterdam
Greenpeace activists prevent the Global Jane from unloading its cargo in the Rotterdam harbour. The ship is carrying tropical timber from Malaysia and Indonesia. With this action Greenpeace is expressing its support to the continuing blockade by Penan people of a logging road in Sarawak. Activists climb the cranes and unfurl a banner reading "Op=Op", which translates to English as "Gone=Gone". The other banner reads "Stop import van fout hout", which translates to English as "Stop import of illegal timber".

Het Greenpeace schip Beluga en actievoerders verhinderen de Global Jane om de lading te lossen in de Rotterdamse haven. Het schip is beladen met tropisch hardhout uit Maleisie en Indonesie. Met deze actie steunt Greenpeace de blokkade van een houtkap route in Sarawak door de Penan bevolking. Actievoerders klimmen in de kranen en ontvouwen een spandoek met de tekst "Op=Op". Op het andere spandoek staat "Stop import van fout hout".
