Roshan with her children Nooreen (3 years), Kalam (9 years) and Khalil (7 years). Two weeks before this picture was taken Roshan's son Najibullah had died at the age of 4 because of hunger. Roshan is struggling to keep the rest of her family alive as there is no food available due to a severe drought. Nine months earlier her husband had left to look for food and never returned.
