Dedi Jambang, local fisherman and guide for a Greenpeace team traveling in the Kampar Peninsula, corrects the boat while traveling through the intact peatland rainforest on very narrow water streams. The waterway becomes very narrow in places due to the unrestrained phenomenal growth of the peatland forest. Navigating a boat through these areas can be incredibly difficult and dangerous.
