Yellow Card for Prime Minister in Sweden
15 referees from Greenpeace show the yellow card to Swedish prime minister Reinfeld and his government for weak leadership in environmental issues in the Swedish EU presidency. Greenpeace has analysed the government’s current position in the areas of climate, ocean and fisheries policy, chemicals and genetically modified organism (GMO). It will take a big effort from the government to avoid getting a red card and being sent off the pitch.
