Jiu Quan wind turbine factory brings new 'green' jobs' to the Gansu province. China is rapidly expanding its wind power generating capacity and has set a target for renewable energy consumption of 40 percent of the market by the year 2050. A sign on the outside of the factory is written in Chinese characters and translated to English as "Present white clouds and blue sky to the humankind and reserve more resources for the future."
