About 20 Greenpeace activists protest against the position Switzerland is taking at the IWC in front of the parliament building with a fourteen-meter-long inflatable whale. The activists demanded the Federal Council to protect whales without compromise at the IWC conference for whales. A banner was reading: “Delamuraz hilft den Walschlachtern! Stoppt ihn!” or translated: "Delamuraz helps the whale slaughterers! Stop him!"
