Indigenous Nenet people kill a reindeer. The Nenets people are reindeer herders and use every bit of the animals (including drinking their blood) for food, clothing, medicine and housing. The entire region and its inhabitants are under heavy threat from global warming as temperatures increase and Russia’s ancient permafrost melts.
