Greenpeace blocked a lorry carrying radioactive materials for four hours in a motorway services car park as its drivers and security guards took a tea break. Activists chained themselves to the ground around the lorry and painted slogans on it while 2 vehicles were used to prevent it from leaving. the lorry was carrying spent nuclear fuel rods from the Chapelcross military reactor in Dumfries to Sellafield.
