Norwegian Ulvar Arnkvaem atop the backhoe attempting to unfurl a banner that reads: "Stop BP's Northstar...Greenpeace". The backhoe was helping to lay the Northstar pipeline. Operations were stopped briefly while the activists tried to climb the backhoe. A total of four activists (Norwegian, Canadian, New Zealander and American) entered the " No Trespass Zone" around the Northstar construction site on snowmachine. Two were riding on a sled behind the snowmachine.
