No Fish Farms Protest British Columbia
Musgamagw Tsawataineuk Tribal Council members in a traditional Kwakwaka'wakw canoe protest at the Heritage Salmon fish farm in Broughton Archipelago and demonstrate their support for the Greenpeace campaign Keep it Wild - No Fish Farms. Greenpeace volunteers from the MV Arctic Sunrise have deployed a floating banner in front of the Burdwood Group salmon farm. The organisers of the demonstration, Musgamagw Tsawataineuk Tribal Council, First Nations, Commercial and Sports fisherman and Greenpeace are demanding the removal of all open-net fish farms in their traditional territories in and around the Broughton.
