Zhang Xuekuang went saury fishing for four days in the Yangtze river. He spent RMB 150 on diesel, but didn’t catch a single fish – he wishes he stayed home instead. The production of saury fish is lower than previous years, possibly as a result of toxic waste water discharged in the river by the surrounding industries.
