Toxics action where Greenpeace activists demonstrated at the Dow Chemicals headquearters of South Africa.
Greenpeace activists put the spotlight on one of the world’s most notorious corporate criminals – Dow Chemical – by blocking the entrance gate and signposting and fencing off an open discharge pipe for toxic waste at the company’s manufacturing facility in South Africa to serve as a powerful reminder to delegates attending the Johannesburg Earth Summit that “corporate criminals should be punished”. Two activists wearing masks and dressed with jackets with the inscription: "Zero Toxics", label the site with a "Corporate Criminal" sign.
