Greenpeace hands over photos and 30.000 signatures from Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Tunisia to the Chinese embassy. The signatures were attached to a 800 meter long cord, carried by 2 dozen activists.

With this action Greenpeace calls on China to approve a ban on military nuclear testing at the UN Conference, but also to prohibit the so-called civilian nuclear bomb explosions. In contrast to the other participants in the negotiations China has been unwilling to do so.
