The expansion of soya plantations in the Amazon is the leading cause of deforestation in the region as huge areas are cleared to meet agricultural demand. Greenpeace document a number of areas in the Amazon, looking at people, natural wildlife and the impact that the soya industry is having on the rainforest landscape.
