GE Climbing Action Against BAG in Switzerland
In the foreground some leaflets and bananas. In the background, four activists hang a banner with three giant Chinese monkeys saying "Blind Office of GE food BAG sees nothing, hears nothing, says nothing!" The banner hangs from the building of the Federal Office of Public Health. Greenpeace demands that BAG withdraws the Monsanto-renewal request.
In original language:
Gentechnik Kletter Aktion gegen BAG

Genetic Engineering Action Banners on BAG building in Bern Switzerland
"Blind Office of GE food BAG sees nothing, hears nothing, says nothing!" Three giant Chinese monkeys point this out while hanging from the building of the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG). The BAG didn't respond to alarming new studies on Monsanto's genetically engineered soya, nor to the supervisory complaints of Greenpeace about the EDI. Today, the 5-year authorization for the genetically modified Roundup-Ready-soybeans has expired. Thus, from today, the GE soya is prohibited and so the food company has to respond accordingly, but the BAG has not deemed it necessary to inform the trade business. Greenpeace demands that BAG withdraws the Monsanto-renewal request. The protection of the people, who don't want genetically engineered foods anyway, must finally be taken seriously.
