Unfurling of a 1km length of driftnet along Bondi Beach as part of Greenpeace's campaign to highlight the environmental destruction caused by driftnet fishing. The protest coincides with the commencement later in October of a debate by the UN General Assembly on a proposed ban on driftnet fishing worldwide planned to take effect from 1 July 1992.
