Apple Farmer in India
Kailash Negi, an apple farmer in his new orchard, he is one of the many affected by climate change which is decimating the apples production: "There are no apples on the lower elevation. I tried planting some but the trees withered in two years. I have now tried to set up an apple farm here at an altitude where no others are farming. I have my Buddhist flag with me to repel evil spirits."

Climate Voices from Farmers in India
Among many others in India and elsewhere, apple farmers are being heavily affected by climate change impacts. Due to global warming, erratic weather patterns have decimated the apple production affecting the local economy. New hail phenomena is destroying the harvests and the farmers are increasingly having to use protection nets over their trees.
