A worker at the straw fired biomass facility at Avedøre Power Station, a CHP (combined heat and power) plant in Hammerholmen. Avedøre Power Station’s Unit 2 can use a wide variety of fuels: natural gas, oil, straw and wood pellets. 25 tons of straw can be combusted per hour.
