Greenpeace activists project "Quit Coal, Save the Climate" in Spanish and English, onto the cooling towers of the As Pontes coal fired power plant in A Coruña. The plant consumes 20% of Spanish coal and is one of the most polluting power plants in Europe. The protest comes a week before the European Parliament votes on the EU's climate package, and the construction of over 50 coal plants in Europe. Greenpeace demands the EU votes for measures to block the construction of coal plants and cut greenhouse gas emissions by at least 30% by 2020.
