Climate Action at Botas Oil Terminal Coal Platform in Turkey
Greenpeace activists have boarded and hang from one of the world's largest coal platforms at Botas Oil Terminal, stopping barges from importing coal to the Sugozu (Isken) coal fired power plant.
The Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior is on a four months tour in the Mediterranean sea to promote renewable energy and to encourage the countries in the region to stop using coal as an essential step to tackle climate change.
