A dead Common Dolphin caught in a fishing net washed up on a South Devon beach. The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS) estimates that some 4000 dolphins and porpoises per year may die in pelagic trawl fishing nets in this region, which is 5% of the population.
