Climate Action Homeless Polar Bears in Washington DC
A homeless polar bear by street artist Mark Jenkins sits on the sidewalk at Gallery Place/Chinatown in Washington with signs reading 'Oil Addiction Wrecked My Life' and 'Global Warming Refugee, Help A Brother Out'. The bear was part of a series of 5 life-sized installations deployed around the city to call attention to the plight of polar bears who are losing vast areas of their sea ice habitat due to global warming.
