Forests Logging Background (Papua New Guinea : 2003)
Seen here is a prawn from the creek, they say there are not as many now since the logging has started.Tusuwe Sakas and Koboro Moko at the creek which "our grandparents used as medicine, they would use this creek when they were sick, it would make them better. The creek has faded away. It cannot heal people because the logging companies came and disturbed the beliefs we have. It will not be the same as before. There is no fish since the company came, our medicine is not like before." Bula creek has had a bridge put across it and there are now silting and erosion problems which is upsetting this family.
